The Captain assigned to the Planning, Special Events & Intelligence function, schedules and develops security/operational plans for all special events, impending weather emergencies, threats etc. and acts as the liaison to the Secaucus Office of Emergency Management. The Captain evaluates and disseminates intelligence received relating to criminal activity, terrorism and natural disasters, etc. to agency personnel. The Municipal Counter-Terrorism Coordinator (MCTC) liaisons with the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office and Federal Counterparts [JTTF]. The Captain is responsible for the accountability of all departmental equipment and is the “Nasal Narcan” coordinator.
