On 11/11/2024 at 9:46 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 63-year-old male, Alejandro Izquierdo of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $5,000.00 with a 10% option. Newark did release Mr. Izquierdo on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Izquierdo was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On 11/12/2024 at 6:02 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old male, Joshua Sanchez of Hillside, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $750.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Berkeley Township, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Sanchez was able to post bail for the outstanding warrants issued out of Hoboken, North Bergen and Union City, NJ. Berkeley did release Mr. Sanchez on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Sanchez was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and he was released from police custody.
On 11/13/2024 at 10:08 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Secaucus Junction Train Station located at 100 Laurel Hill Drive to take into custody a 32-year-old male, Rashon Turner of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Harrison, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00. Turner was brought to the Secaucus Municipal Court for court proceedings and the warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ was recalled. Mr. Turner was unable to post bail for the outstanding warrant issued out of Harrison, NJ and was subsequently transported to the Harrison Police Department.
On 11/13/2024 at 2:47 PM, Secaucus Police arrested a 43-year-old male, Angel Calderone of Secaucus, NJ for 3 outstanding warrants issued out of Perth Amboy, NJ in the amount of $2,946.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Pequannock, NJ in the amount of $1,137.00. Perth Amboy along with Pequannock did release Mr. Calderone on his own recognizance pending future court dates and he was released from police custody.
On 11/14/2024 at 5:16 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 16-year-old male of Union City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)]. The juvenile male was issued his juvenile complaint summons and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On 11/15/2024 at 10:15 AM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to a shoplifting incident that occurred at Walmart on 10/23/2024, the police responded to Union City and took into custody two 16-year-old males of Union City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(2)]. One juvenile male was issued his Juvenile Complaint summons and was released into the custody of a responsible adult. The other involved juvenile male was issued a Station House Adjustment and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On 11/15/2024 at 10:20 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30-year-old female, Stephanie Baker of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $1,905.00. Baker was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On 11/15/2024 at 12:29 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Division in relation to a shoplifting incident that occurred at T.J. Maxx located at 3 Millcreek Drive on 10/11/2024, the police responded to Fairview, NJ to take into custody a 39-year-old male, Gawad Dalia of Fairview, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. At the time of his arrest he was found in possession of a quantity of suspected Percocet and Xanax and additionally charged with Possession of CDS [2C:35-10a(1)]. Dalia was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 11/16/2024 at 4:15 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of the Route 3 East Service Road in the area of the Paterson Plank Rd exit ramp on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 45-year-old male, Daniel Codjoe of Concord, CA for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Codjoe was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $106.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Codjoe was released on his own recognizance pending a future court date for the East Orange warrant. Mr. Codjoe was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 4 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
