Blotter 02/26/2024-03/03/2024

On 02/26/2024 at 3:54 PM, Secaucus Police responded to 248 Secaucus Road on a report of a theft of a license plate. During the investigation, the police arrested a 36-year-old male, Nelson Figueroa of the Bronx, NY for Theft [2C:20-3A] and Disorderly Conduct [2C:33-2A(2)]. Figueroa was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 02/28/2024 at 12:20 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in regards to a theft that occurred in the area of 485 Harmon Meadow Boulevard on 01/05/2024, the police arrested a 27-year-old male, Victor Vasquez of Lodi, NJ for Theft of Property Lost or Mislaid [2C:20-6] and Unlawful use of a Credit Card [2C:21-6H]. Vasquez was taken into custody at Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road. Mr. Vasquez was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 02/29/2024 at 1:29 AM, Secaucus Police took into custody a 66-year-old male, Richard Santoro of Elmwood Park, NJ from the Fair Lawn Police Department for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,600.00 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00 with a 10% option. Newark did release Mr. Santoro on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Santoro was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 03/01/2024 at 3:21 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 42-year-old female, Siraba Keita of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)], Hindering Apprehension by Providing False Information [2C:29-3A(7)], Theft of Identity [2C:21-17A(4)] and Possession of False Government Documents [2C:21-2.1C]. Keita was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
