A home on Koelle Boulevard in Secaucus was destroyed in a two-alarm blaze early Thursday morning. Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said no one was injured in the fire, which broke out at roughly 2:30 a.m. At one point the home, was was being rented, was completely engulfed in flames. Miller said the Secaucus Volunteer Fire Department, with assistance from departments from Jersey City, Rutherford and Lyndhurst, did an outstanding job in keeping the fire from spreading to neighboring homes.
