Labor Day isn't until Sept. 4, but the Secaucus Police Department will be out in force cracking down on drunk drivers starting Aug. 18 as part of the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign.

Running through Sept. 4, many local and state law enforcement agencies will be conducting sobriety checkpoints and roving patrols, looking for drivers who have had too much to drink.

The "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" is a national campaign designed to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving through enforcement and public education tools that include public service announcements, posters, banners and electronic display signs.
