A local family has three police officers to thank for saving the life of their newborn baby on Thursday.
The trio of police officers -- George Sikaffy, Jude Masullo and Michael Bronowich -- sprang into action early Thursday morning and administered CPR to the 2-week-old baby boy, who was having trouble breathing, Secaucus police Capt. Dennis Miller said.
"The officers' quick and deliberate actions prevented this family from living a lifetime of hurt," Dennis Miller said. "This is another clear example of the professionalism and caliber of service that the Secaucus Police Department provides."
