A Jersey City man was arrested in Secaucus and charged with credit card theft after a traffic stop, authorities said.

Carlos Crayton, 24, was pulled over in the area of Route 3 East when police noticed he was not paying attention to the road and he was driving with his head down at 4:20 p.m. on Feb. 13, Secaucus Capt. Dennis Miller said.

Police detected the odor of burnt marijuana and checked the car, but found no other evidence of drugs, Miller said. However, police found two credit cards that were not in Crayton's name and he was arrested, Miller said.
