Two men from Latvia were arrested and charged with steakling more than $1,000 worth of merchandise from the Kohl's department store last week, according to police.

Artjoms Sipilo, 24, and Edgars Kervis, 27 – both from the small country in eastern Europe, were charged with shoplifting and conspiracy to commit shoplifting on Nov. 17, according to Secaucus police Capt. Dennis Miller.

Kervis was charged additionally with possession of burglary tools for carrying a pair of wire cutters on him at the time of the arrest.
