Secaucus police have arrested a 16-year-old boy they say was involved in a string of car burglaries reported in late July.
The teenager, whose name was not released because he is a juvenile, has been charged with seven counts of burglary, five counts of theft, and one count of conspiracy to commit burglary and theft, according to the release.
The 16-year-old broke into seven different vehicles, stealing items such as "an iPod and loose change believe it or not," said Secaucus Police Capt. Dennis Miller. No windows were broken; all cars were left unlocked and open to the burglar, according to Miller.
