Two separate undercover police operations at a Secaucus hotel last week led to the arrests of two women on prostitution charges

Secaucus Pol Det. Sgt. Mike Torres said that Katherine M. LaFlower, of Florida, and Shamara A. Upshaw, of California, both 20, were arrested on Friday, March 18, after offering undercover police officers sexual acts in exchange for money. 

According to police, the busts occurred in a 90-minute span, with Upshaw being arrested at around 8 p.m. and LaFlower being take into custody at approximately 9:30 p.m. Police say they also found that LaFlower had two failure to appear warrants, one out of East Brunswick and the other out of Georgia for prostitution.
