Another member of the Marra Drugs family has been charged with stealing from the pharmacy. Joann Bernstein, 55, a pharmacist at the Paterson Plank Road business, used a business credit card for personal use, racking up more than $16,000 in purchases, Secaucus police Capt. Dennis Miller said. Bernstein, of Livingston, was arrested Wednesday at the pharmacy on a third-degree theft charge and her first court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 14.
