A New York man was arrested Saturday outside the Secaucus Walmart after an altercation over a parking spot turned violent, police said.

Felix Aponte, 37, was charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses related to a knife that he pulled during a fight with three women inside the store, Secaucus police Capt. Dennis Miller said.

The conflict began in the parking lot and continued inside the produce section of the store, where things turned physical. Aponte brandished a folding knife and swung the weapon at one of the women, striking her jacket, Miller said.
