On Saturday, November 24, 2017, at 12:15 AM, Secaucus Police received a report from a Concerned Citizen of possible criminal activity being conducted in a room at the Holiday Inn [300 Plaza Drive]. Upon arrival, responding officers began to investigate an apparent fraudulent credit card scheme.

The three (3) occupants of the room were identified and detained a short time thereafter. They were Christine Antonelli, 33, of Massapequa, NY, Emil Panzarino, 42, of Brooklyn, NY and Jeramiah Wills, 49 of Jersey City. At that time, they were found in possession of stacks of gift cards, fraudulent credit cards, and fraudulent driver’s licenses with their photos on them. Mr. Panzarino was found to have active warrants from Jersey City and West New York. Ms. Antonelli was found to have an active warrant from Jersey City as well. Ms. Antonelli and Mr. Wills also were found in possession of stolen pieces of mail likely to be used to create the fraudulent credit cards and driver’s licenses.

A subsequent search of the hotel room occupied by Christine Antonelli, Emil Panzarino, and Jeramiah Wills, led to the seizure of stolen pieces of mail and other documents likely to be used to create the fraudulent credit cards and driver’s licenses, from over fifty (50) individual victims. An embosser and printer used to make fraudulent credit cards were seized along with numerous blank cards that are commonly used as actual credit cards.

Christine Antonelli, Emil Panzarino, and Jeramiah Wills were charged with Possession of Forgery Devices [2C:21-1(C)], Possession of a False Government Document [2C:21-2.1D], Possession of a Device or Materials to make False Government Documents [2C:21-2.1B], Credit Card Theft [2C:21-6C(1)], Receiving a Lost or Mislaid Credit Card [2C:21-6C(2)], Falsely Embossing a Credit Card [2C:21-6C(5)], Falsely Signing Two or More Credit Cards [2C:21-6C(6)], Possession of Incomplete Credit Cards [2C:21-6(F)], Possessing 20 or more Personal Identifying Information of another [2C:21-17.3B(1)], Conspiracy to Possess a Device or Materials to make False Government Documents [2C:5-2A]. Christine Antonelli was additionally charged with Forgery [2C:21-1A(2)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Christine Antonelli, Emil Panzarino, and Jeramiah Wills were all lodged in the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
