An Elizabeth woman was arrested when she and an accomplice tried to steal items from an outlet store in Secaucus, police said.

Monique Wright, 25, was charged with strong-arm robbery, shoplifting and possession of anti-shoplifting devices after the Nov. 18 incident at the Gucci store on Hartz Way, Secaucus police Capt. Dennis Miller said. She was taken to Hudson County jail.

Wright was apparently left behind by her accomplice, who drove off and was not caught.

Also on Nov. 18, police investigating a break-in on County Avenue arrested a 22-year-old Secaucus man on two outstanding warrants for $700 from the town. The man was taken to Hudson County jail.
