On November 21, 2017 members of the Secaucus Police Department conducted a search of the Second Floor and Basement apartments of 284 Lincoln Avenue after a three month investigation. As a result of this search, Alexander D. Garcia, 30, Luis A. Garcia-Bacalao, 26 and Ashley D. Rivera 25, all of Secaucus were arrested. Additionally, Ana Molina 32 of Huntington Station, NY was arrested. During a search of the residence, over four (4) pounds of suspected marijuana, marijuana vapor oils, and edible marijuana candy were seized. Approximately one (1) ounce of suspected cocaine was also seized that was packaged for street sale. Additionally, over $1,700.00 in suspected drug proceeds was seized.

“The diligent follow up to complaints received are a priority for the Secaucus Police Department. We will continue to investigate and inhibit any drug distribution operation within the town,” Chief Flaherty said.

Alexander D. Garcia, Luis A. Garcia-Bacalao and Ashley D. Rivera were all charged with Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana [2C:35-5b(11)], Possession with the Intent to Distribute Cocaine [2C:35-5b(2)], two counts of Possession with the Intent to Distribute within 500 feet of Shetik Field [2C:35-7.1], Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana [2C:5-2/2C:35-5b(11)], Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine [2C:35-5b(2)], Possession with the Intent to Distribute Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-3], Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10a(3)], Possession of Cocaine [2C:35-10a(1)]. Alexander D. Garcia was also charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4a(2)]. Ashley D. Rivera was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2a(1)]. All of the aforementioned defendants were lodged in the Hudson County Correctional Facility. However, Ana Molina was charged with Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10a(4)] and released on a Summons.
