Workers at a local clothing distribution facility found a "suspicious powder-like substance" today, triggering a hazmat response from law enforcement, authorities said. 

Police received a call just before noon from the Century 21 warehouse on Century Way, where employees found the substance on a table in a work area, Secaucus police Capt. Dennis Miller said. 

Both the Secaucus Police Department and the Hudson Regional Health Commission responded to the scene, where the substance was determined to be non-hazardous, Miller said.
