A Passaic County man racked up more than a $1,500 in purchases at big-box retailers in Secaucus with a stolen credit card, Secaucus police said.

Michael Roth, 40, of Wayne, was charged on April 19 with two counts of receiving stolen property and three counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, Secaucus police Capt. Dennis Miller said.

Police had received a report that property was stolen from two people at Retro Fitness, at 20 Meadowlands Parkway, on March 10. One of the stolen items, a credit card, was used at Home Depot, Best Buy and Walmart, all in Secaucus, to purchase $1,517 in items, mostly gift cards, Miller said.
