On 10/02/2018 at 5:00 PM, while on patrol in the area of 1 Meadowlands Parkway the Secaucus Police arrested a 37 year old female, Jennifer Esser of Glen Cove, NY for an outstanding warrant out of Ridgefield Park, NJ in the amount of $500.00.  Ms. Esser posted bail and was released from custody. 

 

On 10/03/2018 at 9:36 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, the Secaucus Police arrested a 43 year old male, Larry Fernandez of Newark, NJ for 1 warrant out of Kearny, NJ in the amount of $2500.00 and 1 warrant from North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $120.00.  Mr. Fernandez posted bail for both warrants and was released from custody. 

 

On 10/04/2018 at 1:34 AM, the North Bergen Police Department transported a 36 year old male, Randy Suarez of West New York, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $400.00.  Mr. Suarez also had 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $250.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Guttenberg, NJ in the amount of $250.00.  Mr. Suarez posted bail and was released from custody. 

 

On 10/04/2018 at 4:46 PM, Wood Ridge Police Department transported a 45 year old male, Felix Aviles of Bayonne, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants out of Secaucus, NJ for a total amount of $2,000.00.  Mr. Aviles posted bail and was released from custody.

 

On 10/04/2018 at 9:22 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Port Authority Police Department to take custody of a 26 year old male, Vincent Thomas of Lumberton, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants out of Secaucus, NJ for a total amount of $2500.00.  During the transport to the Hudson County Jail, Mr. Thomas caused damage to the rear of the police vehicle and was further charged with Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)].  Mr. Thomas was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

 

On 10/05/2018 at 1:45 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Atlantic County Jail to take custody of a 37 year old female, Sheila Justiniano of Las Vegas, NV for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ with a bail amount of $2,500.00.  Ms. Justiniano was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.   

    

On 10/07/2018 at 1:23 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 33 year old male, Nicholas Rivera of Ridgefield, NJ for an outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department.  Mr. Rivera was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. 

 

On 10/07/2018 at 10:57 AM, Secaucus Police responded on a report of a motor vehicle accident in the area of Humboldt Street.  During the investigation the police arrested a 25 year old male, Timothy Holloway Jr. of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Under the Influence [39:4-50], Reckless Driving [39:4-96] and Being under the Influence of CDS believed to be marijuana [2C:35-10B].  Mr. Holloway was issued his summonses and was released to the custody of a responsible adult. 

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

 

A charge is not a conviction. All persons are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Charges can be amended or dismissed.

 

On May 24th at 4:05 pm during a Motor Vehicle stop a 40yo male, Selvio Uribe of Jersey City was arrested for 4 outstanding warrants. 3 from Jersey City totaling $300.00 and a No Bail warrant from Hudson County Sheriff. A 54yo male, George Clayton (passenger) of Bayonne was arrested for 3 outstanding warrants totaling $1750.00 from Edgewater and Lyndhurst. Mr. Uribe was issued a MV summons (Driving While Suspended) and transported to Hudson County Jail. Custody of Mr. Clayton was turned over to Edgewater PD.

On May 25th at 9:04 am Secaucus Police were dispatched to Essex County Corrections to take custody of a 25yo male, Antuan Belfield of Newark for an outstanding warrant from Secaucus. Mr. Belfield was transported directly to Hudson County Jail.

On May 25th at 4:13 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to a home where family members were concerned on possession of CDS. A 52yo female, Patricia Holloway of Secaucus was arrested for Possession of CDS [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2], and Under the Influence of CDS [2C:35-10B]. Ms. Holloway was processed issued her summons and released.

On May 25th at 7:10 pm, Secaucus Police were dispatched to UPS on a call of a disorderly person. A 42yo male, Anthony Lott 3rd, was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $750.00 from Scotch Plains. Scotch Plains PD issued R.O.R. Mr. Lott was released without incident.

On May 26th after a 3 week investigation, Secaucus Detective Bureau, arrested a 22yo male, Christopher Mendez of Secaucus on 2 counts of Possession with intent to Distribute Marijuana [2C:35-5B(11)], 3 counts of Possession with intent within 500ft of Park [2C:35-7.1A], 1 count of the following: Possession of CDS(pills), [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS with intent to Distribute [2C:35-5B(13)], Possession of Marijuana over 50gr [2C:35-10A(3)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with intent to Distribute [2C:36-3], Possession of Marijuana under 50gr [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. A 17yo male, was arrested for Possession with intent to distribute Marijuana [2C: 35-5B(11)], Possession with intent within 500ft of Park [2C: 35-7.1A], Possession of Marijuana under 50gr. [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Alcohol by a Minor [2C:33-15A]. 3 other Juveniles were charged with Possession of Alcohol by a Minor [2C:33-15A]. Mr. Mendez was processed and transported to Hudson County Jail. All juveniles were released to their parents.

On May 26th at 2:09 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Best Buy on a call of possible Fraud. A 55yo male, David Rose New York, NY was arrested for 3 counts of Fraud. A 26yo male, Desmond Nixon of White Plains, NY was arrested for Obstructing Justice. Mr. Rose was processed, issued his summons and released. Mr. Nixon was issued his summons then released.

On May 27th at 5:11 pm during a Motor Vehicle stop a 36yo male, Carlos Castro of Union City was arrested for two outstanding warrants, $500.00 North Bergen, and a no bail warrant from Hudson County Sheriff’s office. Mr. Castro was issued 3 MV summonses (Suspended DL, Suspended Registration, No Liability Insurance) and custody turned over to Hudson County Sheriff.
