On February 13th at 4:16 pm during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 38 year old male, identified as Jean P. Velazquez of Union City NJ, was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Elizabeth NJ in the amount of $250.00. Mr. Velazquez was also issued a motor vehicle summons for operating a motor vehicle while having a suspended driver’s license. Elizabeth Municipal Court did release Mr. Velazquez on his own Recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from custody.

On February 13th at 9:28 pm during a Motor Vehicle Stop, a 31 year old male, identified as Luis Aguilar of Secaucus NJ and a 25 year old male, identified as Juan D. Aguilar of Teaneck NJ, were arrested for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Luis Aguilar was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Hashish Oil and Mr. Juan D. Aguilar was charged with Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10a(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Juan D. Aguilar was also issued (3) motor vehicle summonses for Tinted Windows, Improper Display and Operation of a motor vehicle while in possession of CDS. Both individuals were served their complaint summonses and were released from custody.

On February 14th at 2:37 pm the Secaucus Police received a call from Macy’s regarding an employee theft. During the investigation a 22 year old male identified as Isaiah T. Caston of Jersey City NJ was arrested for Theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Caston was also found to have an outstanding no bail warrant out of Jersey City NJ and an NCIC no bail warrant out of Somerset County. Mr. Caston was served his complaint warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On February 14th at 9:59 pm a 49 year old male, identified as Ahmed Mumford of Jersey City NJ was arrested for having an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus NJ for $500.00. Mr. Mumford was also found to have an outstanding warrant out of Jersey City NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Mumford posted bail for the outstanding Secaucus warrant but was unable to satisfy the Jersey City warrant and was subsequently taken into custody by Jersey City Police and transported to their jurisdiction.

On February 16th at 12:21 pm the Secaucus Police responded to the Extended Stay America hotel on a report of a possible disturbance in one of the rooms. During the investigation a 31 year old male, identified as Johan Martinez-Negron of West New York NJ was arrested after he was found to have (5) outstanding warrants. (2) of the warrants were issued out of Union City NJ for $500.00 and $433.00, (2) were issued out of Jersey City NJ for $100.00 for each and (1) warrant issued out of Hoboken NJ for $175.00. Mr. Martinez-Negron was subsequently transported to the Union City Police Department and left in the custody of the Union City Police.
