On February 5th at 4:00 pm Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the Royal Motel. During the investigation a 28 year old male, identified as Andre Ricks from Plainfield NJ, was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $164.00 from Mount Olive. Mr. Ricks posted bail for the warrant and was released from custody.

On February 6th at 8:52 pm during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 26 year old male, identified as Norguelson Vertus from Pompano FL, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Vertus was issued 5 motor vehicle summonses (Unsafe Lane Change, Unlicensed Driver, Failure to Signal Turn, Failure to Possess Drivers License, Operation of Motor Vehicle while in Possession of CDS) then was released from custody.

On February 6th at 8:49 pm, Secaucus Police received a call from Outback Steakhouse on a report of fraudulent use of a credit card. During the investigation a 14 year old juvenile male from East Orange NJ was arrested for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card [2C:21-6H]. The juvenile was processed and released to the custody of his parent.

On February 8th at 12:51 pm during a Motor Vehicle Stop, a 21 year old male identified as Christian J. Mata from Union City NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Union City NJ in the amount of $89.00. Mr. Mata was also issued 1 motor vehicle summons for Tinted Windows. Mr. Mata posted bail for the warrant and was released from custody.

On February 9th at 4:09 pm during a Motor Vehicle Stop, a 47 year old male, identified as Reuben Kwaku Adoah from Irvington NJ, was arrested for 2 outstanding warrants out of East Orange NJ in the amount of $114.00 and Irvington NJ in the amount of $89.00. Mr. Adoah was also issued 3 motor vehicle summonses for Maintenance of Lamps, Fictitious License Plates and Unregistered Vehicle. Mr. Adoah posted bail for the warrants and was released from custody.

On February 10th at 7:54 pm the Secaucus Police received a call from Best Buy regarding a shoplifting incident. During the investigation a 41 year old male, identified as Jose F. Morales-Marquez from the Bronx NY was arrested for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B] and Possession of Burglary Tools [2C:5-5A]. Mr. Morales-Marquez was processed, served his complaint summonses and was released from custody.

On February 11th at 3:16 am the Secaucus Police were dispatched on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation the driver, a 28 year old female identified as Ida R. Chimbay from Newark NJ, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence [39:4-50]. Ms. Chimbay was also issued motor vehicle summonses for Reckless Driving and Driving an Unregistered Vehicle and was released from custody to a responsible adult.

On February 11th at 6:00 am the Secaucus Police were dispatched to the Courtyard Marriot on a report of female trespassing on the property. During the investigation a 47 year old female, identified as Tammi Lynn Brodish from Hoboken NJ, was arrested for Defiant Trespassing [2C:18-3B(1)]. Ms. Brodish was also charged with Hindering her Own Apprehension [2C:29-3B(1)] for failing to cooperate during the investigation and arrest. Ms. Brodish was served her complaint summonses and was released from custody.
