1) On November 6th at 11:55 am Secaucus Police were dispatched to Essex County Jail to take custody of a 36yo male, Andre Hill of Rahway for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $200.00 from Secaucus. Bail was posted and Mr. Hill was released without incident.

2) On November 6th at 9:09 pm Secaucus Police responded to a call of a motor vehicle crash on Secaucus Road. The caller stated his vehicle was hit by the tractor that was parked unoccupied next to his vehicle. Police located the tractor driver, proceeded to question him on the incident, where he started acting disorderly. A 33yo male, Antonio Hernandez of Bayonne was arrested for Disorderly Conduct [2C:33-2A(1)] and Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(1)]. Mr. Hernandez was issued 6 MV summonses (Careless Driving, Failure to Report Accident, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Driving While Suspended, Failure to Exhibit Driver Registration, Failure to Exhibit Insurance) then released.

3) On November 7th at 3:33 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Marshall’s on a call of Shoplifting. A 42yo male, Rodrigo Rivera of North Bergen along with a juvenile, were detained. Marshalls’ Loss Prevention stated tags were pulled off footwear, valued at approximately $140.00, and placed on his and the juvenile’s feet in an attempt to pass all points of sale. Mr. Rivera was charged with Shoplifting [2C:20-11b] and Employing a Juvenile in the Commission of a Criminal Offense [2C:24-9a]. He was issued a summons and released. The juvenile was released to his mother.

4) On November 7th at 10:25 am during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 29yo male, Daniel Vega of Union City was arrested for an outstanding No Bail warrant from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office. Mr. Vega was issued 3 MV summonses (Unregistered Vehicle, Driving While Suspended, Unlicensed Driver), and custody turned over to the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office.

5) On November 8th at 7:36 am during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 41yo male Craig Carbone of Jersey City was arrested for 2 outstanding warrants in the amount of $700.00 from North Bergen and Jersey City. Mr. Carbone posted bail was issued 3 MV summonses (Unsafe Lane Change, Driving While Suspended and Unlicensed Driver) then released.

6) On November 8th at 8:09 am during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 46yo male, Alfredo Martinez of West New York was arrested for 2 outstanding warrants in the amount of $281.00 from North Bergen. Bail was posted and 3 MV summonses were issued (Maintenance of Lamps, Driving While Suspended, and Driving with Expired License) and Mr. Martinez was released without incident.

7) On November 8th at 2:35 pm Secaucus Police were detailed to Essex County Jail to take custody of a 25yo male, Gary Melnick of Lyndhurst on 2 outstanding warrants in the amount of $830.00 from Secaucus and Kearny. Custody of Mr. Melnick was turned over to the Hudson County Jail.

8) On November 8th at 11:59 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Mount Olive PD to take custody of a 49yo male, Terrel Bankston of Newark for 3 outstanding warrants totaling $1,000.00 from Secaucus, and Newark. Mr. Bankston was unable to post bail and was transported to Hudson County Jail.

9) On November 9th at 9:59 am during a Motor Vehicle stop a 27yo male, Dashon Brown was arrested for 2 outstanding warrants totaling $500.00 from Palisades Park and Elizabeth. Mr. Brown posted bail, was issued 2 MV summonses (Tinted Windows, Driving While Suspended) then released.

10) On November 9th at 4:44 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Marshall’s on a call of Shoplifting. A 39yo female, Brooke Milligan of Newark was arrested for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B] miscellaneous items with a retail value of $286.22. Ms. Milligan was processed and transported to Hudson County Jail.

11) On November 9th at 6:23 pm Secaucus Police responded to a 911 call from the La Quinta Hotel on a Robbery. A female patron met Police in the lobby where she stated she was robbed and beaten in the elevator of the hotel. The investigation led Police to the Speedway Gas Station where the 2 female accused robbers were found. A 20yo Jailyn Brown of Oakland, CA and 20yo Shailah Featherstone-Hilton of Berkeley, CA were arrested for Robbery [2C:15-1A(1)], and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery [2C:5-2]. Both females were transported to Hudson County Jail.

12) On November 11th at 5:19 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Newark PD to take custody of a 24yo female, Stephanie Tene of Paterson on an outstanding warrant in the amount of $1000.00 from Secaucus. Ms. Tene was transported directly to Hudson County Jail.

13) On November 8, 2017 at 4:21 pm, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 925 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a man panhandling. Edward Butler, 40, of Hampton, NH was arrested for a warrant out of Secaucus with a bail of $350.00. He was brought before Judge Boylan who released him on his own recognizance.

14) On November 7, 2017 at 2:10 pm, Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s on a report of a juvenile shoplifting a speaker valued at approximately $198.99. A 13 year old juvenile of Jersey City was arrested and subsequently released to a parent.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty
