On September 12th at 5:27pm during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 25yo male, Johan Lake-Rodriguez of Paterson was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $250.00 from Paterson. Mr. Lake Rodriguez posted bail, was issued 4 MV summonses (Safety Glass, Driving While Driver’s License Suspended, Failure to Possess Driver’s License, Failure to Possess Registration) then released.

On August 28, 2017 at 12:51 pm, a report was made to the Secaucus Police Department that someone had attempted to gain entry in the residence of 298 Maple Street. After extensive follow up investigatory work and evidence gathered at the scene, a 14 year old juvenile female of Lyndhurst and a 14 year old juvenile female of Secaucus were charged with the crime. On September 12, 2017, both juvenile females were arrested and both were charged with Criminal Trespass [2C:18-3a] and Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3a(1)]. Both juveniles were released to their parents.

On September 13th at 1:17 pm during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 27yo male, Vincent Tene, and 29yo female, Samantha Tene, both of Pittsburg, PA, were arrested for Possession of Hypodermic Needles [2C:36-6A], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Ms. Tene was also charged with Hindering her own Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] and being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10] from Florida. Ms. Tene was transported to Hudson County Jail, while Vincent was issued a summons and released. The driver of Vehicle was issued 3 MV summonses, (Maintenance of Lamps, Driving Without a License, Driving After License Suspended).

On September 13th at 1:50 am during a Motor Vehicle stop (Careless Driving) a 21yo male, Joye Dossantos-Rosario was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $500.00 from Tinton Falls. Tinton Falls issued a R.O.R. for Mr. Rosario, he was issued 3 MV summonses (Careless Driving, Driving While Suspended, Driving Without License) then released.

On September 13th at 1:08 pm during a Motor Vehicle stop (Tinted Windows) a 27yo male, Michael Pepen of North Arlington was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $250.00 from Passaic. Passaic issued an R.O.R. and Mr. Pepen was issued 2 MV summonses (Tinted Windows, Driving After DL/Registration Suspended) then released.

On September 14th at 1:24 am during a Motor Vehicle stop, after the vehicle was observed driving without lights on and having its trunk open, a 23yo female, Thelina George of East Orange was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Ms. George was issued 4 MV summonses [Maintenance of Lamps, Failure to Maintain Lane, Reckless Driving, DWI) and released to the care of a responsible adult.

On September 14th at 2:08 am, a vehicle drove through an active construction zone and was subsequently stopped. A 52yo female, Kim Chokas of Secaucus was arrested for DWI. Ms. Chokas was issued 2 MV summonses (Reckless Driving and DWI) and released to the care of a responsible adult.

On September 14th at 5:21 & 6:17 pm in an ongoing effort to combat “VICE” crimes within the Town of Secaucus, a 25yo female, Courtney Fahnestock of Rocklin, CA, and a 49yo female, Bilian Dai of Flushing, NY were arrested for Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)] and Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. Both females were processed issued their summonses and released.

On September 15th at 12:36 am Secaucus Police were detailed to Orange PD to take custody of a 39yo male, Curtis Yarborough of Orange on an outstanding warrant in the amount of $200.00 from Secaucus. Mr. Yarborough was unable to post bail and was transported to Hudson County Jail.

On September 16th at 10:15 am during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 26yo male, Sheldon Gochiz of Jersey City and 27yo male, Joshua Gochiz of Bayonne were arrested after they were found in possession of a quantity of marijuana. They were each charged with Possession of CDS [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2], issued summonses and released.



These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
