On September 5th at 10:35 am during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 30yo male, Jose Quintero of Jersey City was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $100.00 from Jersey City. Mr. Quintero posted bail, was issued 2 MV summonses (Safety Glass Requirement, Driving with Suspended License) and released.

On September 5th at 8:10 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Summit to take custody of a 20yo male, Shaki Clemons of Newark on 3 outstanding warrants totaling $1139.00 from Secaucus and East Rutherford. Mr. Clemons was not able to post bail and transported to Hudson County Jail.

On September 6th at 8:57 am during a Motor Vehicle Stop, a 36yo female, Katima McCullough of Englewood was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $89.00 from Leonia. Ms. McCullough posted bail, was issued 2 MV summonses (Driving After Registration Suspended and No Insurance Coverage on a Motor Vehicle) then released.

On September 6th at 5:42 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Walmart on a call of Fraud. There were several customers attempting to use a $50.00 coupon that did not have an expiration date. LPO for Walmart stated there were several Gift Cards Purchased with this bogus coupon. During the investigation, a 31yo male, Donell Herrera of Brooklyn, NY who attempted to use the coupon was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $1885.91 from Montgomery Township Municipal Court. Mr. Herrera posted bail and was released.

On September 6th at 9:21 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Bergen County Jail to take custody of a 22yo male, Michael Jefferson of Lodi for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $500.00 from Secaucus. Mr. Jefferson was not able to post bail and was transported to Hudson County Jail.

On September 7th at 10:12 am during a Motor Vehicle Stop (Failure to Signal), a 26yo male, Ramnauth Autar from Jersey City was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $500.00 from Secaucus. Mr. Autar posted bail, was issued an MV summons and released.

On September 7th at 2:53 pm during a Motor Vehicle stop a 32yo male, Hector Garcia (passenger) of Jersey City was arrested for 2 outstanding warrants totaling $1305.00 from Jersey City and Fort Lee. He was also found in possession of a quantity of marijuana. He was charged with Possession of CDS [2C:35-10A(4)] and Failure to Turn over CDS [2C:35-10C]. The driver of vehicle was issued 2 MV Summonses, (Obstructive View, Driving with Suspended License). Custody of Mr. Garcia was turned over to the Jersey City Police Dept.

On September 8th at 11:53am Secaucus Police were dispatched to Jersey City PD to take custody of a 22yo male, Itrue Brunner of Bayonne for 2 outstanding warrants in the amount of $1500.00 from Secaucus and Bayonne. Mr. Brunner was not able to post bail and transported to Hudson County Jail.

On September 8th at 1:00 pm a 37yo male, Keith Sullivan of West New York was arrested for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. On 9/06/2017, Police received a call on the Theft of a bicycle off a rack attached to a vehicle in the Sam’s Club Parking lot. In a joint effort of Secaucus Patrol and Detective Divisions the stolen bicycle was recovered.

On September 8th at 3:22 pm a 32yo female, Viviana Gutierrez-Diaz was arrested for DUI. Secaucus Police responded to a Motor Vehicle that had overturned on Route 3 West near Best Buy. Ms. Gutierrez-Diaz was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where she was given 3 MV summonses (DUI, Reckless Driving, Open Container of Alcohol) and left in the care of the hospital staff.

On September 9th at 9:03 am during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 38yo male, Jakarrie Carter of Jersey City was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $100.00 from Jersey City and Possession of a quantity of marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Carter was issued MV Summons for Tinted Windows, Driving While Suspended, Failure to Exhibit Insurance Card, Possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. Mr. Carter posted bail and was issued his MV summonses and released.

On September 9th at 9:53 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Irvington PD to take custody of a 22yo male, Shawn Sanchez of Irvington on 2 outstanding warrants in the amount of $1000.00 from Secaucus. Mr. Sanchez was later transported to Hudson County Jail. On September 10th at 7:19 pm Secaucus Police responded to a call of an individual being struck by a vehicle riding a bike on Center/Golden Avenues. A 42yo male, Jesus Diaz of Secaucus was arrested for an outstanding No Bail warrant from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office. Mr. Diaz was held at Headquarters until Hudson County Sheriff’s Officers took custody. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
