On August 14th at 9:46 am during patrol in the area of the Red Roof Inn, police arrested a 31yo male, Dorian Xerri of Center Moriches, NY for Possession of CDS (suspected Clonazepam) [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10a(4)], Possession of Hashish [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] . Mr. Xerri was issued a summons and released.

On August 14th at 1:49 pm during patrol of Sam’s Club/Walmart parking lots, Secaucus Police happened upon a vehicle with 3 young males, (1 juvenile) loading groceries while parked in a Handicapped space. A strong odor of what was believed to be Marijuana was evident as police drove past. Upon investigation, a 20yo male, Ronald Reyes of Jersey City was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $100.00, a 19yo male, Dioscar Almanzar was arrested for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Reyes posted bail, was issued 3 MV summonses (Unauthorized use of Handicapped ID Card, Handicapped Parking, Operation of a MV while in Possession of CDS) then released. Mr. Almanzar was issued a summons and released. The Juvenile was left in custody of a responsible adult.

On August 15th at 12:30 pm Secaucus Police were detailed to Bergen County Jail to take custody of a 34yo female, Tanesha Smith of Willingboro for an outstanding warrant from Secaucus in the amount of $1240.00. Ms. Smith had 3 additional warrants totaling $5408.00 from Willingboro, Trenton and Wayne. Ms. Smith was unable to post bail and was transported to Hudson County Jail.

On August 16th at 12:48 pm Secaucus Police responded to the Municipal Court to take custody of a 37yo female, Keah Fryar of Randallstown, Maryland for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $1500.00 from Westampton. Bail was posted and Ms. Fryar was released.

On August 16th at 3:06 pm during a Motor Vehicle stop a 21yo male, Nyron Lewis of Jersey City was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $500.00 from Spotswood. An R.O.R was granted and a MV summons was issued to Mr. Lewis (Tinted Windows) and he was released.

On August 16th at 4:22 pm Secaucus Police were detailed to the Bergen County Jail to take custody of a 21yo female, Jennifer McDonald of Lodi. Ms. McDonald had 2 outstanding warrants in the amount of $2700.00 from Secaucus and Belleville. Ms. McDonald posted bail then released.

On August 17th at 3:52 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Home Depot on a call of Shoplifting. A 30yo male, Giovanni Valdes of North Bergen was arrested for Shoplifting and an outstanding warrant in the amount of $2500.00 from North Bergen. Mr. Valdes was transported to Hudson County Jail.

On August 17th at 9:03 pm Secaucus Police responded to a Motor Vehicle Accident on Meadowlands Parkway. Secaucus Fire personnel were responding to a Fire Alarm, when their fire vehicle was struck head on. A 39yo male, Clint Cleetus of Secaucus was arrested for DUI, and charged with Assault by Auto [2C:12-1C(1)]. Mr. Cleetus was issued 3 MV summonses (DUI, Improper Turn, Reckless Driving) and released.

On August 18th at 1:09 pm Secaucus Police were detailed to South Hackensack PD to take custody of a 35yo female, Daisy Landa of Fairview. Ms. Landa had 4 outstanding warrants totaling $1665.00 from Secaucus, North Bergen, and Jersey City. Ms. Landa posted bail and was then released.

On August 18th at 3:30 pm Secaucus Police were detailed to Bergen County Jail to take custody of a 35yo male, Alex Gomez of Jersey City. Mr. Gomez had 3 outstanding warrants totaling $1409.00 from Secaucus, Guttenberg, and Clark. Mr. Gomez was transported to Hudson County Jail.

On August 20th at 5:03 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to Candlewood Suites on a call of intoxicated male refusing to leave the property. A 25yo male, Marvin Githinji of Jersey City was arrested for Disorderly Conduct [2C:33-2A(2)]. Mr. Githinji was issued his summons and released.

On August 20th at 9:59 pm Secaucus Police were dispatched to CVS on a call of a person soliciting money in the parking lot. A 24yo female, Stephanie Tene of Hollywood, FL was arrested for 2 outstanding warrants in the amount of $600.00 from Secaucus and Jersey City. Ms. Tene was transported to Hudson County Jail.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
