On April 24th at 10:55am during a Motor Vehicle stop (Tinted Windows) a 29yo male, (passenger) Clifton Figaro was arrested for 3 outstanding warrants totaling $5300.00 from Secaucus and Guttenberg. Mr. Figaro was brought to headquarters and awaited transport to the Hudson County Correctional Center. The driver of vehicle received 1 summons for having tinted windows.

On April 24th at 8:43pm during a Motor Vehicle Stop(Improper Display) a 25yo male, Edward Castillo of North Bergen was found in possession of a quantity of marijuana and arrested for Drug Possession [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia[2C:36-2] and a Weapon Offense[2C:29-3E] (brass knuckles). Mr. Castillo was processed then released being issued 2 Motor Vehicle Summonses for Improperly Display (39:3-33) and Possession of CDS while in a Motor Vehicle (39:4-49.1).

On April 26th at 9:40am Secaucus Police responded to NJ State Police in Homdel to take custody of a 32yo male, Elijah Washington of Newark. Mr. Washington had 3 outstanding warrants totaling $1155.00 from Secaucus, Union and Mickelton. Mr. Washington was able to post bail for the Union and Mickelton warrants, but not able to post for Secaucus. Mr. Washington was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Center.

On April 26th at 3:45pm during a Motor Vehicle stop (Improper Display), a 37yo male Alberto Lascano from Jersey City was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $250.00 from Union City. The passenger, a 48yo male, Alex Harris from Islip NY was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $100.00 from Jersey City. Both defendants were able to post bail, Mr. Lascano was issued a MV summons for Improper Display and both were released.

On April 26th at 4:44pm Secaucus Police responded to 100 Plaza Drive on a call of terminated employee refusing to leave premises. A 27yo male, Christopher Guzman from Staten Island NY was arrested for 3 outstanding warrants in the amount of $1511.00 from Union City and Hudson County. Mr. Guzman was able to post bail for the Union City warrants. Hudson County Sheriff’s officers took custody of Mr. Guzman.

On April 25th at 1:16pm Secaucus Police Dept. responded to Clifton Police Dept. to pick up a defendant for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $81.00 from Secaucus. A 23yo male Lee Tobon from Lodi was arrested, seen by Judge Boylan and released.

On April 28th at 11:23am during a Motor Vehicle stop a 22yo female, Jasmine Powell of Jersey City was arrested for 3 outstanding warrants totaling $401.00 from Lyndhurst and Orange. Ms. Powell posted bail, was issued 3 MV summonses, (Reckless Driving, Unregistered Vehicle and Driving While Suspended) and released.

On April 28th at 5:22pm in an ongoing effort to combat VICE crimes within the Town of Secaucus, the Secaucus Police Department arrested 1 female for prostitution during an ongoing undercover operation. Georgina Nunez-Mendoza, 18yo of Bronx, NY was charged with Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(1)] and Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)].  Ms. Nunez-Mendoza was processed, issued a court date and released

. On April 29th at 1:28am NJ State Police transported a 37yo male, Travis Gomez from Elizabeth on an outstanding warrant in the amount of $200.00 from Secaucus. Mr. Gomez was able to post bail and released.

On April 29th at 2:50am Secaucus Police responded to an auto mobile accident on Paterson Plank Road and Huber Street. A 38yo female, Fernanda George was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (39:4-50), Driving While Intoxicated while in a School Zone [39:4-50(G)(1)], Reckless Driving (39:4-96) et al. and was released.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
