  • On March 6th at 9:28pm during a Motor Vehicle Stop a 35yo male, Jean Lopez from East Newark was arrested after he was found in possession of a quantity of marijuana and for having an outstanding warrant in the amount of $250.00 from Weehawken. Mr. Lopez was charged with Possession of CDS [2C:35-10a(4)], posted bail, was issued 2 summonses (Tinted Windows and Driving While Suspended) then released
  • On March 7 at 12:09pm Secaucus Police responded to the Municipal Court for a person on an outstanding warrant of $500.00 from Linden.  A 37yo male, Nelson Tamay-Huillca from Newark was arrested.  Mr. Tamay-Huillca posted bail then released.
  • On March 8th at 4:00pm a 38yo female Elena Ratti of Lincoln Park was arrested for Theft [2C:20-3A]. It is believed that Ms. Ratti stole in excess of $25,000 from the Secaucus Patriots Booster Club over approximately one year.  She was processed issued her summons and released.
  • On March 8th at 9:04pm NJ State Police transported a 25yo male, Daniel Moyon of Jersey City to Secaucus Police Headquarters for 2 outstanding warrants from Secaucus. Upon further investigation it was found Mr. Moyon had 2 additional outstanding warrants. 4 Warrants totaling $1450.00 from Secaucus, Newark and Jersey City.  Mr. Moyon could not post bail and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.
  • On March 8th at 9:09pm during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 37yo male, Chistian Saldana-Feliz of Jersey City, NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $140.00 from Bloomfield. Mr. Saldana-Feliz was able to post bail and was released receiving a summons for Driving while Registration is suspended.
  • On March 10th at 11:57am a 35yo male, Rafael Velez-Fernandez was arrested for Trespassing [2C:18-3A] Mr. Velez-Fernandez entered a Lumann Terrace home without permission of homeowner. Mr. Velez-Fernandez was processed issued summons then released.
  • On March 10th at 1:05pm Secaucus Police responded to Passaic County Jail to transport a 43yo male, Darance Robins for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $410.00 out of Secaucus.  Mr. Robins was processed and transported to Hudson County Jail.
  • On March 11th at 4:39pm Secaucus Police were detailed to Best Buy on the suspected act of Fraud.  A 36yo male, Abubakarr Jalloh from Staten Island NY was alleged to be impersonating another and attempting to add cellular telephone lines to existing account that did not belong to him.  He was arrested for and charged with Providing False Government Documents (Driver’s License) [2C:21-2.1c], Forgery [2C:21-1a(2)], and Hindering his own Apprehension [2C:29-3b(4)] Mr. Jalloh was issued a Summons, processed and released.
  • On March 11th at 5:21pm Secaucus Police arrested a 36yo male, Anibal Nieves from Newark for Theft [2C:20-11B] after Mr. Nieves allegedly passed all points sale from Toy’s R Us with valued merchandise (Legos) of $1214.82.  He also had an outstanding warrant from Bloomfield in the amount of $250.00. Mr. Nieves was processed and transported to Hudson County Jail.
  • On March 5th at 5:13pm, a 36 year old, Luquan Shorter of Irvington was stopped for motor vehicle infractions.  During the motor vehicle stop he was found to have an active warrant out of Newark in the amount of $5000.00.  He was subsequently arrested and posted bail.  He was charged with Failure to Inspect, being an Unlicensed Driver and Driving while Suspended. 
  • These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
