On February 28th at 2:13am during a motor vehicle accident involving an overturned vehicle, a 38yo male, Dwayne Moorer of Queens, NY, was arrested for DUI. Upon investigation, Mr. Moorer had 2 outstanding warrants in the amount of $178.00 from Union City. Mr. Moorer was issued 3 Motor Vehicle summons (DUI, Open container of alcohol in motor vehicle, reckless driving) then released.

On February 28th at 10:29am during a Motor Vehicle stop for Maintenance of Lamps a 29yo male, Damir Hot of Fair Lawn was arrested for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10a(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Hot was processed, issued his summonses and released.

On March 1st at 5:01pm during a Motor Vehicle Stop a 27yo male, Tyrief Martin from Jersey City, was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $100.00 out of Jersey City. Mr. Martin posted bail, and was released with summons for having tinted windows.

On March 1st at 5:14pm during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 24yo male Ricky Robles from West New York was arrested for an outstanding warrant from West New York in the amount of $318.00. Mr. Robles posted bail and was released and issued 2 summonses for Obstruction of View and Driving While Suspended.

On March 2nd at 11:22am Secaucus Police transported a 20yo male, Joshuadio Taylor from Old Bridge on a warrant from Secaucus in the amount of $2,000.00. Mr. Taylor and later transported to Hudson County Jail.

On March 2nd at 11:35am during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 19yo male, Abanoub Atalla from Bayonne was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $2985.00 out of Bayonne. Mr. Atalla was not able to post bail and turned over to the Bayonne Police Department. Mr. Atalla was issued 2 summonses (Improper Display, Driving with Suspended License).

On March 2nd at 11:58pm Secaucus Police Dept. responded to a call of 2 unresponsive parties inside a vehicle. After being awoken by the responding police officers, a 33yo male, Angel Figueroa from East Orange was arrested for DUI. Mr. Figueroa was issued 2 summonses (DUI, Reckless Driving) and released.

On March 3rd at 3:43pm during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 32yo male, John Allegretta from Secaucus was arrested for DUI after he was stopped for making unsafe lane changes. Mr. Allegretta was processed then released being issued 3 traffic summonses (Unsafe Lane Change, DUI, Reckless Driving).

On March 3rd at 3:57pm Secaucus Police were called to the Marriott Hotel after the cleaning staff found a quantity of marijuana in one of the rooms. Upon arrival, officers met Hotel manager at the room in question. During investigation officers recovered several bags of green leafy vegetation believed to be marijuana. A 46yo male Ronald Meseau of Brooklyn, NY was arrested for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10a(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Meseau was processed and released.

On March 4th at 11:12am during a Motor Vehicle stop a 32yo female, Madiline Stephens of Jersey City was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $250.00 out of Union City. Ms. Stephens posted bail, was issued 4 Motor Vehicle summons (tinted windows, maintenance of lamps, driving while suspended, driving without a license) and released.

On March 4th at 3:49pm Police were called to Walmart for a disturbance. Upon investigation a 26yo female, Karelys Lozada-Sanchez was arrested for 4 outstanding warrants in the amount of $2896.00 from Tinton Falls, Union City and Hoboken. Ms. Lozada-Sanchez was R.O.R., advised of her court date and released.

On March 4th at 6:55pm Police were dispatched to Walmart on a report of shoplifting. A 53yo female, Laurell Reynolds of Bronx, NY was arrested for shoplifting clothing and DVDs and possessing of burglary tools. Ms. Reynolds was charged with Shoplifting [2C:20-11b] and Burglar Tools [2C:5-5]. She was processed, issued a summons and released.

On March 4th at 7:17pm, Secaucus Police received a call regarding a person wanted in connection with a theft from Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt on a prior date. 31yo male Dorrelle Sykes from Jersey City was arrested for Hindering his own Apprehension [2C:29-3] and being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10] from Cook’s County, Illinois. Mr. Sykes was processed and awaited transportation to the Hudson County Jail.

On March 5th at 3:08 am responded to a call of an assault on an Uber Driver. During the assault the Uber Driver was punched repeatedly and part of a wireless cellphone ear piece he was wearing broke off and became lodged within his ear. Injuries sustained also resulted in several stitches. A 33yo male, Edward Vasquez from East Rutherford was arrested for Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1b(7)]. Mr Vasquez was processed, issued a summons, advised of court date and released.

On March 5th at 5:13pm during a Motor Vehicle stop (Failure to Inspect) a 36yo male, Luquan Shorter from Irvington was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Newark in the amount of $5000.00. Mr. Shorter posted bail, was issued 3 Motor Vehicle summonses (Failure to Inspect, Unlicensed Driving, Driving While Suspended) and released.
