 On February 20, at 5:20am, Union County Police notified Secaucus Police they had in custody a 25yo male from Elizabeth, NJ, Carlos Ramirez-Tabares for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $1000.00 from Secaucus. Mr. Ramirez-Tabares posted bail and was released.

On February 20, at 3:46pm during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 24yo male from Fairview, NJ Ameedeldi Awadeh was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (Marijuana) [2C:35-10a(4)]. Multiple summons were issued and served, (Obstructed View, Careless Driving, Driving while Suspended, Operation of Vehicle while in possession of CDS) to Mr. Awadeh and was released.

On February 21, at 10:49am Secaucus Police were summoned to the Secaucus Municipal Court. A 46yo male from Newark, NJ, Brian Hall was ordered by Judge Boylan to be taken into custody for violating the conditions of his probation. Mr. Hall became combative and resisted arrest. Upon further investigation, Mr. Hall was found to have an outstanding warrant in the amount of $100.00 from the Jersey City Municipal Court. Mr. Hall was issued additionally charged with Resisting Arrest by force [2C:29-2a(1)(a)] and Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1] and transported to Hudson County Jail.

On February 22 at 9:51am during a Motor Vehicle stop a 30yo male from Jersey City, Jeffrey Michel was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (Marijuana) [2C:35-10a(4)] and an outstanding warrant in the amount of $100.00 out of Jersey City. Mr. Michel was issued complaint summons for Possession of CDS. Mr. Michel posted bail and was released.

On February 22 at 5:39pm during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 25yo female from Jersey City, NJ Kiara Miller was arrested for outstanding warrants in the amount of $396 .00 out of Union City and Jersey City. Ms. Miller posted bail and was issued 3 summons for Obstructed View, Suspended DL, and Suspended Registration.

On February 23 at 8:17am, Secaucus Police were dispatched to the Empire Hotel on a call of a suspicious person sleeping in the lobby of the hotel, which is currently under renovation. Upon investigation at scene a 43yo male from Lyndhurst, Hassan Taha was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $283.00 out of Lyndhurst. A ROR order was issued to Mr. Taha and released.

On February 23 at 1:13pm during a Motor Vehicle Stop a 29yo male from Jersey City, Michael Matos was arrested for outstanding warrants in the amount of $1090.00 out of Hoboken and Jersey City. Mr Matos posted bail, was issued a summons (Tinted Windows) and released.

On February 24 at 8:21 am during a Motor Vehicle Stop for reckless driving, a 22yo male Kevin Gomez-Lopez and 18yo female Mathanika Kanagaligam both from Queens, NY were found to be operating a stolen vehicle from New York. Both were found in possession of a quantity of suspected marijuana and Mathanika Kanagaligam was also found in possession of a quantity of Adderal and Xanaz. They were both arrested and charged with a variety of drug possession and drug paraphernalia along with Receiving Stolen Property (2C:20-7). After processing, both were issued the summonses and released.

On February 24 at 1:30pm SPD was Secaucus Police responded to a location within Kearny, NJ and arrested Richard Johnson, 46yo male from Secaucus on an outstanding warrant from Secaucus. He was transported to Hudson County Jail, where he was being held on “no bail”.

On February 24, at 4:52pm, Secaucus Police responded to Essex County Jail to pick up a 34yo female, Chonte McCurdy from Montclair who was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Secaucus in the amount of $500.00. Ms. McCurdy posted bail and was released.

On February 24 at 6:16 pm while at a Motor Vehicle Accident a32yo female, Tyisha Wilson from Newark was arrested for outstanding warrants. During investigation it was found Ms. Wilson had 8 warrants in the amount of $2250.00, from Secaucus, Newark, Harrison and Jersey City. Bail was posted, a summons was issued for Suspended Driver’s License and Ms. Wilson was released.

On February 24 at 8:47pm during a the investigation of dog left inside vehicle, a 52yo male from Voorhees, NJ, Daryl Thomas was arrested for outstanding warrants from Camden County, Burlington County and East Windsor. Mr. Thomas was released to the custody of East Windsor Police Dept.

On February 24 at 10:48 pm, Police were summoned to CURA, a drug rehabilitation facility on the 500 block of County Avenue on the report of a large fight. During the fight one male attempted to strike another with an exercise “curling bar.” A 36 year old male was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Camden in the amount of $499.00. A 39 year old male was charged with Simple Assault [2C:12-1a(1)] and an outstanding warrant from Stratford with a bail of $499.00. A 44 year old male was charged with Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1b], Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4d], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5d] and outstanding warrants from Camden, Gloucester, Pennsauken and Cherry Hill totaling $3180.00. The 36 year old male was released, but the remaining males were held awaiting transport to Hudson County Jail.

On February 25 at 10:03 am Secaucus Police responded to CURA on the 500 block of County Avenue, on report of a a 31yo male believed to be under the influence, and becoming aggressive. EMS was dispatched. During the investigation a no bail warrant was found out of Bergen County Sheriff’s. Bergen County Sheriff’s responded took custody of the male and transported him the Bergen County Jail.

On February 26 at 7:35am during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 42yo male Terrence Patterson from Roselle, was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Irvington in the amount of $200.00. Mr. Patterson posted bail and was released.

On February 26 at 12:00 pm Police responded to The Red Roof Inn on a well-being check of two children. During an investigation it was discovered that a 29yo female Jennafer Machado from Broomall, Delaware, and a 30yo female, Sabrina Williams from Springfield, PA were engaging in Prostitution while each of their children (a 5 and 16 months old) were alleged to be staying in an adjacent room. Ms. Machado and Williams were arrested for Prostitution [2C:34-1b(8)] and Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4]. DCPP were notified and responded to Headquarters and took custody of the children. Both females were processed and released.
