On February 13th, at 4:20 pm a 24yo male from Jersey City, NJ Carlos Crayton was arrested for Credit Card Theft and an outstanding warrant for $100.00 out of Jersey City, NJ. During the investigation, 2 debit cards with different names that were believed to be stolen were found in Mr. Crayton’s possession. Mr. Crayton charged with two (2) counts of Credit Card Theft [2C:21-6c(2)], was processed and transported to Hudson County Corrections.

On February 13, at 5:16pm, during a Motor Vehicle Stop, (Safety Glass) a 21yo male from Chatham NJ, Kenneth Daneyko was arrested for outstanding warrants totaling $2000.00 from North Plainfield, Dover, Whippany and Madison NJ. Mr. Daneyko posted bail was issued summonses for safety glass requirements, having an unregistered vehicle, driving while suspended and released.

On February 14, at 9:04 am during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 32yo male from Union City, NJ, Cristhian Rivera-Chahin was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $99.00 from Union City, NJ. Mr. Rivera-Chahin posted bail, and was issued a summons for Maintenance of Lamps and released.

On February 14, at 1:10pm, SPD was summoned to the Secaucus Municipal Court. A 48yo male from Whitestone, Queens, NY, Marco Buono was arrested for Outstanding warrants in the amount of $2125.00 from Carteret, NJ, and Maywood NJ respectively. Mr. Buono posted bail and was released.

On February 15, at 9:40am, responded to an alleged Dispute/Public Brawl. A 35yo male from Passaic, NJ, Juan Mena was arrested for possession of a prohibited weapon (billy club) and later learned to have an outstanding warrant out of Garfield, NJ in the amount of $1000.00. Mr. Mena was charged with Possession of Prohibited Weapons and Devices [2C:39-3(e)], processed and transported to Hudson County Jail.

On February 15, at 4:30pm, responded to Marshall’s on a report of Shoplifting. A 49yo female from Cliffside Park, NJ, Sol Rivera was arrested for Shoplifting $131.97 in various clothing items. Summons Complaint was generated and issued for Shoplifting [2C:20-11b(1)] and Possession of Burglar’s tools (2C:5-5). Ms. Rivera was processed and released.

On February 15 at 4:38pm, Secaucus Police Department picked up a 35yo male from North Plainfield, NJ, Grady Jackson at the Union County Police Department, for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $500.00 from Secaucus. Additional investigation found Mr. Jackson had 4 additional outstanding warrants in the amount of $3000.00 from South Plainfield, Clark and North Plainfield NJ. Mr. Jackson was not able to post bail where he was then transported to Hudson County Jail.

On February 15 at 6:24pm officers responded to Kohl’s on a report of Shoplifting. A 26yo female Michelle Avila-Diaz from North Bergen, a 53yo female Silvana Arcos from Guttenberg and a 17yo juvenile from Guttenberg were arrested after they allegedly shoplifted jewelry totaling $568.00. Silvana Arcos also had an outstanding warrant out of Elizabeth for $250.00. During the investigation, it was learned that all three parties conspired with each other to shoplift. Silvana Arcos and Michelle Avila-Diaz were charged Shoplifting (2C:20-11b), Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting (2C:5-2/2C:20-11b), Possession of Burglary Tools (2C:5-5) and Use of a Juvenile to Commit a Crime (2C:24-9). The Juvenile was charged with Shoplifting (2C:20-11b) and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting (2C:5-2/2C:20-11b). All parties were processed and released. Elizabeth Police Release Silvana Arcos on her own Recognizance on the aforementioned warrant and scheduled a new court date for her.

On February 16 at 1028am New Jersey State Police responded Secaucus Police Headquarters who had a 36yo male Hector Santana-Sanchez from Bay Shore NY in custody for an outstanding warrant from Secaucus. Mr. Santana-Sanchez was charged with Providing False Information to Law Enforcement (2C:29-3) on December 14, 2016, during a Motor Vehicle Crash Investigation. Mr. Santana-Sanchez was processed and transported to Hudson County Jail.

On February 16 at 1245pm Police Officer Kiril Petrov responded to a disable vehicle in the area of Rt 3 east and Meadowland Parkway. During the investigation a 26yo female Desiree Buchanan from Bayonne NJ was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Montvale NJ in the amount $1500.00. Montvale Police responded to Secaucus Police Department and took custody of Ms. Buchanan.

On February 16 at 4:15pm during a motor vehicle stop in the area of Meadowlands Parkway and American Way. A passenger, 22yo male Lee Tobon of Lodi, NJ was arrested for outstanding warrants totaling $267.00. Mr. Tobon was also issued a summons for failure to wear a seatbelt. Mr. Tobon’s bail was posted and he was released. The driver was issued summons for Safety Glass Requirements, Improper Display of License Plate, and Obstructed View.

On February 17 at 4:44pm during a motor vehicle stop in the area of 55 Meadowlands Parkway a 31yo male Luigi Tineo of Clifton NJ and a 33yo male Jose Rodriguez-Beco of Paterson NJ were arrested for outstanding warrants. Mr. Tineo was found to have a warrant out of Paterson NJ in the amount of $300.00. Mr. Tineo was also issued a summons for view obstruction. Mr. Rodriguez-Beco was found to have a warrant out of Ho-Ho-Kus NJ in the amount of $120.00. Mr. Rodriguez-Beco was also issued a summons for Saftey Belts. Both parties posted bail and were released.

On February 17 at 8:45pm officers responded to the Hudson County Prosecutors Office to transport a 42yo female Leia Alliston from New York NY to Secaucus for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $200.00. Ms. Alliston was transport to Secaucus Police, posted bail and released.

On February 18 at 7:13am Police Officers Michael Bronowich and Matthew Garzone responded to the parking lot of 875 Rt 3 East on a report of a male sleeping and stopped in the middle of the roadway. During the investigation officer’s noticed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the driver’s breath. The driver learned to be a 48yo male Miguel Castillo of Union City was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence and Reckless Driving. He was then released to a family member.

On February 18 at 11:52am officer’s responded to the area of Walmart on a report of a possible stolen vehicle. Upon arrival officer’s observed the vehicle travel on Mill Creek Drive where a motor vehicle stop was conducted on Rt 3 West Service road. During the investigation it was learned that the driver of the vehicle learned to be a 33yo male Francis Cepeda from Belleville NJ was arrested for having multiple outstanding warrants totaling $750.00. While on scene the owner of the vehicle responded and identified Mr. Cepeda as being an ex-employee who did not have permission to use the vehicle. Mr. Cepeda was charged with Unlawful taking of a Means of Conveyance (2C:20-10) and also found to have $750.00 in outstanding warrants. He satisfied his active warrants was issued his summons and released. It was also learned that the owner of the vehicle a 31yo male Lewis Calderon of Jersey City, NJ had an outstanding warrant from Hopatcong NJ in the amount of $450.00. Mr. Calderon posted bail and was released.

On February 18 at 8:45pm a 31yo female Amy DeGise of Jersey City NJ entered Secaucus Police Headquarters to retrieve here vehicle after it was impounded. A warrant for her arrest was found out of Jersey City in the amount of $100.00. Ms. DeGise posted bail and then released.

On February 18 at 11:58pm officers responded to the High School on an activated burglar alarm. Upon arrival officer’s arrival they saw people within the school and established a perimeter. During a search of the interior of the school officers located 23yo female Mariel Shinnick and 24yo male Andrew Ebel both of Secaucus NJ inside the PAC center. Both parties were charged with Criminal Trespass (2C:18-3) and released.
